Birthdays & Me
Two weeks right before my birthday and the questions begin "What would you like to do on your birthday?"
After last year's mega success of a surprise birthday party perfectly managed by sister dearest..it was THE perfect birthday...and too hard to topple..we're talking about finding crushes I had in high school that she somehow managed to locate and convince them to come! It was a BLOODY BLAST!
This year..I'm lost and can't decide what I'd like to do? I come from a family who is a great believer in the importance of celebrating birthdays...I mean I could put on this show of "Oh..no..not another birthday...who cares..I'm not going to celebrate" but I'd be lieing...'coz I do care..It's my very own New Year..it's the day that I was born..only me...at that exact time..I came into this world...nobody was born at that moment..that second...but me, that exact day...that exact year except ME...so I'm gonna celebrate it damn it!
The question is...how? Do you stick to your nearest and dearest and have a cozy dinner and end it just like any other dinner except they tell you "Happy Birthday" and give you a few gifts?...Do you attempt to break the routine and invite people that you haven't seen in ages...frantically looking for a DJ who has an extemelly funny name that you can't even pronounce and who shows up with only half of his stuff because some other big party was going on and the rest of his stuff is "over there"...Do you pretend that it's not even your birthday and secretly feel sorry for yourself that nobody cares! OR...and this one is my favorite...Invite all the bloggers to celebrate with you at a Starbucks that's been especially reserved for you then watch who actually does show up with a gift knowing that they're giving the gift to a total stranger that they know so well?!:)
I have two weeks to make up my mind and I'm so tempted with the last choice..what do you think?

my bday is in two weeks Im having the same problem there is no way i can top last year's bday.. back to you.. I say do both.. meet ur blogger friends at a coffee place.. then after that have a party with ur friends and family.. while im at it... have a birthday breakfast as well.. celebrate all day long.. you deserve it my fellow pisces
I do not require extra food, am sure most gurls will just stand and not eat, hence, food is always there, even though I do not eat much.
hmm.. i think have another ALL WOMEN blogerette gathering then invite me, and ali.. ok fine and jazz, hmm.. ok jazz can get his 2 guy friends stallion and madri minu.. sounds good? ;pppp
la la im kidding.. ummmm.. good idea abouut the starbux and all, but..hmmm... damn it cant ur bday be a eek earlier? got exams comin up ;(

My suggestion would be as follows:
Keep March 8th for you, your family and extremely close friends! Then go out with a BANG on the 9th!
You could use the following schedule:
9th AM:
Breakfast with the family
9th PM: (LUNCH)
Have close friends invite you to lunch
9th PM: (late afternoon to early evening)
Blogger meet-up at a coffee shop! (Prefferable a meet-up where gender is not an issue! In other words guys and girls can come! If you want to make a blogger mee-up for guys then for girls then you would have to keep it hush-hush and meet up at 2 different places)
9th PM: (late evening)
I can hold an S&M session dedicated to you! ;o) Invite close friends!
9th PM: (Night to early moring)
