Bitter Hearts Beating On A Sunny Day In Kuwait...

It's Friday morning and the weather is fantastic..Nothing like a sunny day when you know the rest of world has to shovel snow! A perfect day to fall in love, be with the one you love or listen to stories about love.

My thoughts are interrupted by the comments received by bloggers who think Romance/Love is Dead! How Sad!

I am forced to wonder, have they lost hope in Love? Did they ever believe in it in the first place? If not, why not? Where they born not believing in it or did someone go out of his/her way to make them stop believing in love?

I ask you, would you ever marry a marriage of convenience? Can you wake up in the morning knowing that you don't love the person sleeping next to you? Have the crazy stories of failed love in Kuwait made you believe that love no longer exists?

Are men and women in Kuwait so bitter towards each other that the ugly head of vengeance leaves no hope for love? If mind is over matter and the loss of belief in love is everywhere, does love even have the chance to exist?

Realistically, when you wake up in morning on a sunny day in Kuwait, do you think today I might fall in love or are you one of those who bitterly sits at Marina Mall bitching about the opposite sex with not an ounce of ra7ma in your heart?

Did the battle between Love and Hate in Kuwait mean that Love has lost the war?

- u said it urself, just becoz its a beautiful sunny day it'd be even nicer if there were love.. ie love is a complementizer to an already existing unsatisfaction

- ma7ad sa7y will "lose hope in love", but then again theres only O N E definition for love: admiration, respect, gratitude, longing

to have that, u need a "shell" for "love to operate in" .. i think ive said this before somewhere else, the idea of an "established relationship", one that bonds two people 3ala sana3, how do u define 3ala sana3 is the question?.. becoz all that bonds two people outside that context is just so UNLIKE the context when it would be inside, so much in fact that it just does not compare to be put in the same sentence, and hence NOT to be called "love"

- id like to think that i cant wake up next to a wife who i dont love, but then again i dont ever want to wake up next to a wife whom ive not grew to love "within a context of an established relationship" becoz that would just undermine her being 'precious'

- the crazy stories of failed love in kuwait.. im the antagonist in 40% of those back in the day, care for a signature?

- again, u prove love to be a compliment .. dont tell me "thats the point, it completes u", dont u even dare hehe

- there isnt a war, and the love which i defined above doesnt have a counterpart of "hate", which again distinguishes it from the illusion commonly believed in

- i am in soooo much trouble arent i

I think it's just that most Q8ies have the wrong idea of what love really is .. and so when they go in love with thier fauls expectations they don't give a chance for what really is love to shine through them .. and after a few set backs they close up to to all together even though they still long for it deep down in thier hearts .. The fact is .. you can't really find love .. it's already there all around us .. all we have to do is learn to let go of any expectations & fully open up to it. That's how I feel anyway.
